Abuse...have you ever read anything by Torey Hayden? She doesn't write self-help books. She's a teacher who worked with children with emotional disturbances, and then later she went to grad school and worked with cases of elective mutism. I've liked all her books except for the one about cult abuse, which creeped me out (Ghost Girl).

Butterscotch pudding...homemade? Storebought? I can't find any at Publix.

The pudding was storebought...Swiss Miss...in the refrigerated section here at Wegmans (an unbelieveable chain of grochery stores here that I will never be able to live without when we move someday). It's very yummy!!
