I had a really good day yesterday. It was practically a second birthday for me.

First, I found my rings, which I mentioned in my previous post. That added an extra sparkle to my day.

Well, my day just got much better.

I found my rings. My happy, happy rings.

They were below a pile of clothes just waiting for me to find them. I now have my precious moonstone ring and mother of pearl class ring again.

Please excuse the sudden joyous screaming and jumping up and down.

So the wedding was a success and actually went off fairly smoothly, considering the amount of hang-ups most weddings have. And I was a damn good maid of honor, if I do say so myself. I am exhausted and my back aches. I should be in bed, trying to get some sleep, but I'm waiting for my load of laundry to go into the dryer before I go and try to sleep.

So the bridal shower on Saturday went pretty well. It wasn't overly exciting or entertaining, but it wasn't the stand-around-dull-fest that I expected either. The party was supposed to last from 2 to 4pm, but the last people left at 6pm so I think that was a good sign that other people enjoyed it as well ( Read more... )
