After passing his test last August and studying in class for two months, in just a couple of weeks from now my darling hubby will be graduating to become a Staff Sergeant (yay!)     My freshman year of high school I enrolled in my first semester of Japanese. There were about 13 other kids in the class, so we all got to know each other pretty well.     Last night after I had set down my book &switched off my reading light, I heard a soft, low, hoot hoot-hoot which sounded quite near my bedroom window. I have since determined it to be a Great Horned Owl, possibly a male, with the aid of this page of owl sounds.
