ferret fever
Growing up in California, the idea of having a pet ferret was never a possibility since, for no good reason, they are not legal to own there. However! During my first visit to a pet shop in Colorado, I saw for the first time the cute little fuzzies all curled up together-- absolutely adorable.

i babysat 2 for a few months once
the only problems you should be aware of are:
- they love to pee in any and all corners, so you just have to put something (a table, a statue) in all corners so they dont use it as a litter box
- they love to crawl under the covers at night and bite your feet
- they love & are always able to crawl up the back of your dresser & sleep in your clothes (i was ok with it but it makes all your clothes musky)
- you have to ferret-proof everything cos they can climb up the chimney or through any small cracks
