My family and I are all fine. There's a little damage around the complex (some small trees fell over & some of the roofs had shingles blown off), but there isn't any damage to our individual apartment. I want to cry...or maybe scream. The class still isn't back up on Blackboard, the assignment is due by 5pm, and I have just a little over an hour before I have to go to work.

Hopefully the professor will give an extension.

Wow, I really need to update this thing. I got accepted to the Masters of Counseling program at Sam, and I've started classes. I really want to move back to Huntsville, but all but one of my classes for this semester are either online or off campus, so there really isn't a need for me to move yet. This past Wednesday I had my grad-school admissions interview at Sam. I think it went well. I've already turned everything else in, so all I have to do now is sit back and see if I get accepted.

Prayer would be greatly appreciated.

Life is good. I don't really have any complaints. I'm taking the GRE on the 1st of July, so I've been studying for that. Oh, and I'm loving my job at Starbucks. I was a little worried about how the early mornings were going to go, but they really haven't been that bad. Free espresso doesn't hurt either.

It's amazing how God provides what you need when you really need it. I've been looking for a new job recently. I'm not impressed with how management runs things at my current job, and they've also been cutting back on people's hours. I had a bad day at work today. I wanted to just tell them "I quit" and go home, but I didn't. I guess that's a good thing, means I'm not a quitter. I don't know...right now it doesn't feel so great, but I suppose in the broad scheme of things it's good.

So much has happened since my last post: Kayla's wedding, Christmas, a trip to Boston, New Years, Chi Alpha's SALT conference, my cousin Serena's wedding in Louisiana.
