I really needed this fall break. Its good to get back to the family and have a few days of ease. I still have a philosophy paper that I've done almost nothing with. Ahh, tis a glorious day! Clear blue skies, the chilly crispness of early fall, and a lazy Sunday afternoon. Mass was excellent. As a break from the usual folksy music, the music ministry played Pachelbel's Cannon. Classical music stirs my soul as little else can. Life is Good.

I must apologize as I have been noticeably lax in updating the journal thus far in the school year. I frequently think of things to write about, but by the time I get back to the computer I don't have the energy to type out my thoughts. Wow, 20 seems a lot older than 19. Yesterday's birthday was pretty good - chicken fingers, cake, presents, family, and friends. This fine Saturday, Keith and his girlfriend and some kids from Monroe dragged my lazy arse out of bed and down to Virginia Beach. I was actually rather impressed with the place. Much more crowded than Florida's Finest Beaches, but nice sand, a cool breeze, and great water. They also have waves there, something sadly lacking from Pensacola Beach ( Read more... )

Despite my best efforts, classes have resumed here in Williamsburg. Today was french and intro to philosophy. Actually, racquetball, french, and intro to philosophy, but the racquetball class doesn't start till next Monday.
