Trying to stay as positive as I can be under the circumstances, I want to note that today I was forced to voluntarily quit my job, effective immediately. It was all the district manager's doing and could not have been prevented by my store manager. I can't even believe it, Roy. I know this won't make anything better, but it is true and you know it: you are way too good for that place. And this is the perfect time for you to go out and find a job that's going to pay you for all the work you do and be enjoyable and give you a chance to use your million and one skills. In retaliation, I'm thinking of starting a syndicated Hollywood Video comic named "Fat Ken," which revolves around the life and adventures of our beloved (but fat) DM.

What were your last words to Ken? Please tell me they were, "You're fat." Those are the words I want to use when I quit.

think of it this way...

if this hadn't happened, you may never have gotten out alive (i equate hollywood video to borders, and i've seen many at borders like you stay there for 5, 6, 10 years). sometimes all you need is a push in the right direction. this was more of a shove, but i know that you know that its what you need.

down with hollywood video!

i've never rented there and now i never will... i'm sticking to netflix for the way they abused half of the LeRoY team!
