I also saw bits of Alistair and Wynne, but not as much as Witherfang. She's a sympathetic, understanding, and calm character (which suits your personality). She also comes off as empathetic in that she's willing to end her own life in order to help those around her. Lastly, Witherfang prefers peaceful solutions. You state that you're excessively conflict-avoidant, so I can see that fitting in an appropriate manner as well. Besides, it wouldn't surprise me if Witherfang second-guesses herself like you do, especially in the violence department. Or that she's more reserved. Or cautious. And so forth.
I was considering Wynne for a part of it, but several of your negative adjectives don't fit and she's also one of he characters with a "Grey Wardens must be focused on duty. No fun, love, or anything for you." mentality. I can also see a bit of Calin, although the "afraid of success" part if the exact opposite of him.
Overall, I see Witherfang as well. She fits all of your positive traits wonderfully, as she's even considered the emphatic peacekeeper by those around her, so far that she's willing to sacrifice herself if it means freeing them. Aside from the others in the forest already close to her, she remains pretty avoidant... and, while I wouldn't consider her that spiteful, she does eventually decide to attack a whole clan in order to make one of the members reverse what they've done. She's more reserved, calm, cautious, peaceful (aside from the attack on the clan, but she wanted to try diplomacy for centuries to no avail there), and fairly confident

I could see Duncan, Alistair, and Wynne being rather good fits for parts of your application, but overall I think I'm going to have to go with a Witherfang vote as well. She's definitely a peacemaker-type character in a lot of ways, and most of your positive traits in particular fit rather well with what I know about her character. I could honestly see her sharing many of your dislikes as well. She can be more reserved especially towards those she is not familiar with, tends to be rather calm, is more cautious, peaceful, and fairly confident

There's bits of Wynne, but overall I have to agree with the vote for Witherfang. She clearly prefers peaceful solutions, even if she's willing to fight to defend the werewolves; she'd much rather you persuade Zathrian to end the curse. You also said you'd "lean on others to better the lives of people and animals", which is pretty much the storyline of that particular quest in DA:O. She's also reserved and I can see her being a second in command - she seems a bit of the reluctant leader sort, and her role as Lady of the Forest is less a leadership role than the role of someone who's lending hope, optimism and support to the werewolves.
I could see bits and pieces of Wynne, but you're much more like Witherfang overall. You're a naked ladyyyyyyyyyy. She only uses conflict/violence as a last resort, only when every diplomatic/peaceful effort has failed. Neither of you likes conflict, and you dislike deceit even more. This isn't to say that she's a pacifist pushover; she's perfectly willing to defend herself and those important to her. Your answer to the bandit question was Witherfang in a nutshell.
