I went to the Firestone on Congress Street once for tires. They did a good job.

Kaddo's VW on 15th Street is phenomenal for Volkswagen service. I know quite a few people who have gone there (myself included) and never had a problem. Highly recommended.

Last time I was there they could have charged me $1,000 for a timing belt replacement that I didn't need. (It had been changed at Nemer about a year previous, but against my orders [and apparently at no charge] which is why I didn't know about it.)

They were honest with me and I walked out paying $300 for the legitimate repairs that I needed and nothing extraneous. Kaddo's has earned my business for a long time to come.

i got two tires at tire warehouse at 641 river street. they're cheap and they have a one or two year warranty on anything that happens to tires.
