And sounding out words became a good way to spell when? I'm pretty sure they made up "asertation" too. There's ascertain and assertion, but no asertation.
Just...use spell-check. That'll clear up any mysteries.
I have dyslexia and I didn't learn how to properly spell "ridiculous", "probably", "definitely" and a number of words for a while. And we're talking about until I was in my late teens. When I first started RPing, my browser definitely didn't have a built in spell check (Internet Explorer) so not only was I making spelling errors, I was making grammatical ones all the time. Also, dyslexia affects people in different ways, sounding out doesn't always work. I've caught myself typing words that phonetically sound the same, but are completely different. Still do mess up on spelling and grammar, it doesn't go away completely.
And it really could be someone who doesn't speak English as a first language if that's the case >_>;
"i never would have rped with you if i knew you would eventually stop fucking my character." uh. welcome to real life? i'm so damn sick of people getting all bawwww about their characters getting broken up with. relationships are not the only kind of interactions you cna have you know?
OP has butthurt feelings, blames their desire to ship their characters for breaking up with them. And put that way... okay? Dear OP of 01, sucks to be you.
I don't really read it as "stop fucking my character", but that could be just me. I don't think CR is always just fucking, especially after an entire year.
After a year, my RP characters usually have long involved plots and if I saw my RP partner drop that for a shiny new play thing, be it "sparkly buttsex" or whatever, I'd be super hacked off, too. I think the buttsex is getting a bad rap and spotlighted here because someone's het relationship got tossed aside.
Whenever you get involved in any sort of plot or deep CR with another player, you have to take that player's feelings/opinions into consideration as well because you aren't the only one whose character will be affected by your actions. If you don't want to have to deal with that, don't get your character into a relationship.
"It sucks to know my character is most likely going to crush on yours when it's expected yours will end up with someone else. And why not? Everyone jokes or comments about it, you joke about the 'someday' they'll be together, their character is [unreadable] in love with yours, and your characters have lots of cr. meanwhile, mine's the newer with way less interactions and lots of problems that makes[sic] her gun-shy with love.
So I wish I could stop being hopeful when you say how much your character likes, respects, or really gets along with mine and make jokes about how her actions are making him fall in love."
Won't lie here, Dance in the Vampire Bund is more or less loli wish fulfillment in the form of Mina.
And that said, goddamn do I love the manga. While Mina being that young looking is there, it's an actual plot point. A huge plot point that causes problems not only for Mina and Akira but for the entire vampire race. And Mina doesn't even want to be that young looking, it's just a quirk of the pureblood vampires within the series. Basically it takes the concept that I'll admit straight up it made for fanservice and makes it plausible and believable in the story itself. And it's a damn good story of politics that after a bit? You kinda forget the fanservice. At least I did anyhow.
Uh... big deal? They can be your character's sassy gay friend now. Talk about boy problems. You're making a giant deal over a character that you supposedly have great CR with going gay. That doesn't mean your CR is negated. It just means
I think the secret maker's intention is not so much "I'M MAD BECAUSE A CHARACTER I HAVE CR WITH IS NOW GAY" as it is "I feel like the player of this character I have a ton of CR with is ignoring characters that aren't the other half of the pairing that they're playing out." So, in other words, OP doesn't really have the opportunity for the other player's character to be a sassy gay friend because well. That character's player doesn't seem to care about CR outside of the pairing anymore.
Which... well, I've seen excellent characters completely disappear from games outside of threading with the other half of their pairing before, so I can definitely see where they're coming from.

Or drunk. Or tired... or have another language as their native tongue...
