I love making up bumper stickers. While my family and I were on vacation on Lake Erie, we came up with these:
My other car is a hand basket
and
My hand basket is in the shop.
Both are references to the adage, "going to hell in a hand basket."
Tonight I came up with two:

Just thinking....
I enjoy poetry, but I've been reading through the New Yorker and some random livejournals from the recent posts on the livejournal homepage. I find that a lot of people don't seem to get poetry, just thinking that you can achieve poetry by writing about emotional topics in prose and splitting it up with line breaks ( Read more... ) -

Things I want, etc.
Well, I'm up earlyish again to work on the kitchen. Today I am grouting between the tiles and painting and replacing the trim. Hopefully this'll be the last day. The most challenging part will surely be getting everything (the stove, refrigerator, tables, chairs, etc) out of the dining room and living room back into the kitchen.
