Why do people continue to buy lottery tickets knowing full well that it's effectively a tax on stupid people?
It boggles the mind.
But I've come up with a plan.

Ha! I just won the Spanish National Lottery, and I don't even remember buying a ticket! I just need to email them my full name, bank account number, my social security number, my mom's maiden name and a small transfer fee up front! You lose~!

I don't buy lottery tickets, but my boyfriend does and the other day I Informed him that I have never played scratch offs, he went directly to a gas station and bought 6 of them and he gave me three and he scratched off three and I laughed, Is this for real? I scratched off 3 and won 2 bucks, LOL! He won 4 bucks, that didn't even cover the cost of all the tickets.

I get mad If people are scratching them off while I am waiting In line to pay for my gas.

You know what else I find hilarious, is that a large portion of the proceeds allegedly "goes to help the environment".

How many losing tickets do you see LITTERED in gas station parking lots? And even the ones that get properly disposed of are just extra garbage taking up space in landfills!
