Got my stitches taken out today. What a relief! Also, no skin cancer!

Watered plants, changed the catbox and did the bills. Now I'm making a mess of beans. Exciting day, I know.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, everybody! Rose came down for NYE. After Adventure Time marathon, we watched Tron. Then it was time to watch Anderson Cooper & Kathy Griffin. Adventure Time marathon rules!

Total Lunar Eclipse for most of North America tonight from 1:33a to 5:01a (EST) with the totality about 3:35a.

Sadly, there is a huge winter storm covering much of the USA.

I now have Blink eye drops. Seems to be helping a lot. I still expect a bit of time before adjusting.

Just finished a short (5 vols.) manwha called Pig Bride. It's pretty good. Also finishing Mushishi (vol. 10). There's a reason this won awards. Worth checking out. I've been going pretty slow through Chapterhouse: Dune. Second time reading this ( Read more... )

The bird is in the oven and smells delicious. About an hour to go. All the sides are made except mashed potatoes. Pumpkin pie is ready. We're even caught up on dishes. Saturday, I watched Scarlett Johannson host SNL. Overall, I didn't like it as much as her other two times. Her monologue was a bit stiff. Generally speaking, the earlier the skits, the better.
