I'm sitting at the computer and feel something on my arm. It's a TICK, a blasted TICK. At least it was still flat and not all ballooned up with my blood with it's head buried deep in my flesh.

Now my skin is all hopped up like things are crawling on it.

I decided to walk downtown and mail a Mother's Day card while the rain had dwindled to a slight sprinkle. Katie has gone to St. Louis for 3 weeks. I MISS YOU, SWEETIE! It's her first visit back in 4 years. It's kind of weird and very quiet right now. I'm keeping busy so I don't think about it too much. My oral surgery on Monday went well. I don't remember leaving the doctor's office or arriving home although I am told that I was feeling very well at that point. OK, I finally went to the dentist about my broken down and painful teeth (two of them). I was preparing myself for extractions...and possibly dentures, but he said only two of them need to come out.
