Brain congestion.
Desperately trying to keep my mind out of the void today, but the closer I get to the appointment the more frantic my thoughts become. I can't cope. Things that made me happy today
- Watching the full BBC version of the Olympic Opening Ceremony. No insipid NBC commentators and I was actually able to see the remembrance ceremony for the fallen.
- Realizing BBC understands that the world is bigger than their own country. Hey NBC, there are other countries on this planet besides the good ol' U.S. of A.

Frankenboob lives.
I've tried to ignore it. The brief twinges, the quickest flash of pain. At first I was certain I imagined the feeling. Then it came again. And again. More often. I continued to ignore the signs, refusing to accept the pain. I know that little lump has gotten bigger. Put on mass. I've felt it growing. But I know it isn't cancerous... just annoying.

Once upon a time I had a beautiful bed. A handcrafted Vermont Tubbs bed. I bought it new, many moons ago. I loved it, which is why every time it broke I repaired it. While the bed was beautiful, apparently it was not made to tolerate any activity - including sleeping. jullandershere, I finished it! Ok, I have to say that I do agree with you - it is a good book. That being said, if this book were written now it would have been much shorter. The editor would have nixed a ton of the pages.
