We are moving! No, not back to California (yet). Just up the road a few miles...into a 2 bedroom lower unit duplex 2 blocks from Ayla's babysitter! The YWCA conducted a 50/50 raffle last night at the Roller Derby Championships and my co-worker who had volunteered to do it ended up not being able to and asked me to do it for her and I agreed and I'm glad I did because Roller Derby is my new and only favorite sport! Celebrating the Fourth by going camping in the Olympic National Forest!!! We leave tomorrow early am for a 3.5 hr drive and a fun, wet camping trip on the Olympic Peninsula (there is no doubt it will be raining). I am very excited! It is going to be gorgeous.

It has gotten progressively warmer throughout this week. Today it was in the low 80s and I couldn't be happier. A gorgeous sky is floating by my window. We went to the Solstice Parade today. I got a new job! Same place of work, different position. I am now working full-time for the first time since having Ayla, as the Housing Intake Specialist. Funny, since I know very little about housing or intakes. You could hardly call me a "specialist".
