That was really good, but please don't stop there.
Well actually there is a good place to stop. It leaves the reader with the same feeling as Logan... emptyhanded, incomplete. Stylistically it's the best place to stop, but of course the fangirl in me is screaming for more.
This was all good, but I was particularly moved by Logan's reminiscing about Veronica's development to boring naive girl to the fireball that we know and love. His voice here is really captivating and you can feel how drawn to Veronica he still is. It was good all the way down to my toes.
Thanks for the comments. I'm not sure whether to continue or not. I liked the feeling of open-endedness, but at the same time, have a strong desire to actually get them together at some point. This will take some long thoughts... :)
I hope you continue! I absolutely loved this! It was amazing, I really liked how you had Veronica missing Duncan but how it would have never worked, and Logan's thoughts on Hannah and how she reminded him of pink Veronica, and her change into Veronica 2.0. Also, when she whispered "I love you" at the very end! Oh, I loved it! You better continue! Please??
First: Please continue, because it seems like you've got a plot planned. Second: Really interesting use of Troy, who I liked from S1 even if he was using our girl. Third: I loved the quick change from happy party girl to sad drunk; it feels really true to life.
Its great how you effortlessly managed to summarize Logan and Lilly; Veronica and Duncan (twice); Veronica and Logan; and the BFFs. Great style.
Thanks for the comments! I wasn't sure if I was going to use Troy, but I thought he was such a good character, despite his bad ways. I thought he was the perfect tool to make Logan snap back into reality...
