How is e a number? Unless we're working algabraically. But it's certainly not an integer I know of. Oh, and I owe you wine. Which I have.

And there really isn't that much to do around here, is there? At least I have work. Feel sorry for you.

*owl arrives with expensive, most definately FRENCH wine*

Well, e is the limit of (1 + 1/n)n as n tends to infinity. Euler gave an approximation for e to 18 decimal places, e = 2.718281828459045235 . I figured I'd show a little originality.

Yeah, I've been hoping for a minor epidemic, but so far, no such luck. Though you know, I have a feeling that this should make things more interesting.

And that was original. Very original. I did know that of course, I just wasn't sure they counted numbers in algebraic terms as numbers in integer terms. Because in theory, any letter could be put there instead of e, with the exclusion of n, so your favourite number could well have been x or y or k or something.

I'd rather people stayed healthy, to be honest. The wine? Alcohol always makes things more interesting. Why my life is frightfully dull.

I remember yo-yos! You do realize walking the dog is the simplest trick to do, right? Maybe you're just trying too hard.

It's not so much that I don't know as that I don't remember. Maybe I can wake up that kid in the bed by the window and see if he knows.

Aw, poor Kingsley.

Yes, Dr. Haus, leave the poor kid in the bed by the window alone. I'll come down and show you if you really need it.

You actually want people to get sick?

Yes, and I would be much obliged if it was something creative.

My god. Sure, someone should catch a highly infectious disease and come see you, no problem.

Finally someone understands. So what are you waiting for?

You can't just enforce sickness on students, Haus.

See? It's people like you that make medicine boring. Won't let me contaminate the children because it's "soooo dangerous." Do you know how to walk the dog?

I can't say I've ever tried yo-yo tricks on company time.
