The first episode of the new Doctor Who series has leaked out. I've heard it was traced back to a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Co.) screener copy... but no matter the source, it is out there, and I am working on getting a copy. If things go well, I should have it by the time I'm off work today

Actually, the reviews I've read so far panned it badly. Both Warren Ellis and the critics at Ain't It Cool News were very negative. The Ain't It Cool reviewer, a confessed Who-fan, described it as looking like a badly-produced fan parody. Ellis' review wasn't that kind.

I hope that your sources are right, and this is just sour grapes because the Brits got Galactica first. It's been too long since we've had any Who, and a good Who-restart would bode well for a return of Trek after an extended hiatus.

Please keep us apprised. I'm more interested in your review than the online site reviews, since you're actually a real fellow fan with an appreciation of the material...
