"come, let us drink a new beverage..."

Does anyone have a good recipe for homemade Limoncello? I was hoping to make some in time for Easter. As far as I know, it takes roughly 40 days to be ready. Anyone got any tips?

I can never bring myself to sing the word beverage.

what do you guys say then? the word in Slavonic is "ПИВО", beer... as bad as "beverage" sounds, I think I'd have a harder time singing "beer" in church! I can't remember what the official Jordanville English text reads, and Im used to sing singing it in Slavonic instead of English...

We sing, "Come, let us drink a new drink."

I'll have to see if I can find it in Greek.

Chris has made limoncello, but he's off of lj for another couple of weeks. Try emailing him.

its a sweet lemony liqueur, mostly drank as an after dinner apertif. I'm so interested because Ive heard it can be made fairly easily, but takes several weeks for the lemon rind to steep... about the length of Great Lent!
