Medical Drama at Warwick Castle

     I had a phone call from DD and her delegation leader this morning around 7:15am. Apparently DD added a bit of drama to the day today. She wasn't feeling well when she woke up (headache, nausea, etc) so she went to tell the adults about it. Yes, it was a bit unnerving to hear the leader on the phone this morning - I always think the worst! Of course she immediately said that DD was fine but still you know something must have happened. I was glad to speak to DD myself and hear that she was ok. I can tell a lot about how she is doing by how she talks and what she says. But I'll feel a lot better once I know she's back in the swing of things again and doesn't have any more fainting spells.

She's getting to know the medical staff pretty well at the castle - last night her lip was cut by her partner during a sword fight! They had to check her out then, too. It was fine, and they were happy to hear that she'd had a tetanus shot in the last year or so. Thanks for your concern!
