This is Megan from cyberteens. I'm not sure if you even check your livejournal anymore. I'm just visiting to let you know I'm thinking of ya. I have no idea what's going on in your life but I hope that you're happy and well. :) I just wanted to let you know how happy I am to have been friends with you because you truly helped me out a lot and I am very grateful. I'm doing good. I have been doing all kinds of volunteering and such. First at New Orleans for six months with gutting and organizing and cleaning up the wetlands... or trying to. And the past 3 months I have been working on organic farms in New Mexico. I am about to visit home (Texas) and then on to help with the buffalo campaign. drop me a line if you wish to at nutmegsunshine@yahoo.com If not, much love to you and I shall visit this journal some other time and say hi again. :)
soleil_du_matin pointed me in this direction. She said that you've just recently had a baby (congratulations!) and she said that you knew a thing or two about baby products. I'm currently trying to decide which sling I will want, and I feel like a deer in the headlights. Any tips? :)
Ooh, slings are fun.:) It really depends on whether you want one just for new born or one that'll last longer. If you want one just for when baby is little, check out New Native. It worked great for when my son was a newborn...he'd sleep in it all day! But now that he weighs a little more, it's rough on my shoulders, but ring slings are great. They're a little bit pricier, but you can use them for much longer. These are my favorites: http://www.nestbabysling.com/
Now, if you want more of a baby carrier, I'd suggest checking out mei tais. There are a lot of work at home moms who make them, and you can find tons in babywearer. They're like baby bjorns, only much more comfy and body friendly.
Did that answer your questions?? If not, ask more, and I'll give you more answers.;)

I had all my friend-ofs removed (to get rid of the inactives that comprised over half of the list), so you'll need to add me again if you so choose.
:D
