Carrier suggestions

I've loved my Ergo when my babies were small, but I have tall kiddos and a high waist, so I have trouble with a front carry once they're bigger. The waist strap digs into my stomach when I try to do a back carry. I'll take suggestions as to how to fix that, but I'm also interested in suggestions for a SSC to lust after that might alleviate those

keeping little feet warm?

My daughter is five weeks old and was just under six pounds the last time she was weighed. Her feet are really hard to keep warm. I have a woven wrap, and this week she decided she wants her feet out. Her feet were warm when froggied, but now I don't know how to keep them toasty.
