MMMhmm. Much like my recent No Mice bragging, which was INTERRUPTED by a mouse running through my apartment.

Hahahaha!!! Unfortunate mouse timing is a well recognised phenomenon. At least Simon is a mouser and I have little doubt he would have attacked the roach if he could have reached it.

Otherwise we would probably have mice too.

The AK-47, when you absolutely positively have to kill every motherfucking roach in the room, accept no substitutes.

But yes, even if a roach appears to be dead and on its back it's best to drop a large cement bust on it first just to be sure.

A shotgun will work much better to kill roaches, and be far less likely to overpenetrate the house and enganger those nearby.

Wah! Why did little bearded animated man pick up a dead roach?

Do I even want to know?

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOO!

You should have killed it while it was still small enough to be a one-book-drop bug.

As for staying with Ali, she lives all of half a block from us and Simon at least tried to kill the thing. Julian would probably just contemplate it dazedly and contentedly.
