Yeah, it was the knowing it was there and not being able to go to sleep until it was dead thing that really was horrible.

Well, this isn't going to help, but...

Did you know they can fly?

Living here in The Middle of F-ing Nowhere, Japan, I've seen my share. The worse was the one which was literally as long as my middle finger and at least two fingers wide. Now I know why their roach sprays are 200% poision. -shudders-

It`s a very nice country, with very horrible bugs. Like the posionuos centipedes I have had the fortune _not_ to run into yet.

Ew! You have my extreme sympathy. Every bump in the night has completely screwed me up since I moved into my new place, though the only thing I have seen so far is a centipede glowering at me from my wall. Which was quite enough for me, thanks.

Hey, at least they can't hurt you. My new place came complete with scorpions.

Yeah, I remember that. I logged on to discover spsh freaking right out and refusing to go to the garage without boots.

No no no. I was freaking out and refusing to go into the garage without boots. But I pretty much got over that. Scorpions are pretty slow.
