Finally managed to find an hour to myself to go out and walk around in the woods today

All the mushrooms! Do you have so many different kinds there because its so much more hot/humid? It's been snowing here since last night. So impressed.

Lol... we're the width of Lake Erie away from being in Canada! It's been close to freezing at night for the last week. We just have a lot of old trees and forest and farmland, and I know where to look.

These really are great! I think fungi is beautiful and so interesting :) also bubba as always made me smile.

What an adventure!! Oh glory be.. FUNGHI!!! and baby puffballs... oh cuddles and adores and aaaahs for them BUT that deadly Amanita is just so gloriously evil. She stands there, pure poison. Pure and poison

When I have been out taking pictures of fungi I come home filthy and muddy and soaked! I will lay on the ground, crawl under a log, stomp through a stream... whatever I have to do to capture my lovely subjects!

Bubba is very pleased with himself when he finds something to play fetch with.
