soooo i just got home from DC, where i've been since wednesday, mostly for a conference hosted by 'take back america,' a liberal/progressive organization, but also to hang out with neil and lef and take care of other assorted business. the conference itself was decent- a lot of kinda masterbatory speeches about how we're better than everybody else

Are you pulling a Will & Grace with Leif?

I hear you on the underage issue. My older friends frequent a bar all the time for karaoke that never cards, so I usually get a Mike's with a shot of something fruity. It's funny 'cause when we brought a new friend (who was 18), she asked me to buy all her drinks for her =D I was functioning as her romantic interest at the time, but she was more worried about getting busted.

And then Adria Cafe, which used to be Jam 'n' Java, it's one of the coffee joints on Main St -- I'll take you if you're here for space camp, I have some coupons -- they didn't give a damn when it came time for St Paddy's, they're European. So I was drinking Guiness practically on the street.

lol no, leif and neil are together (neil is a girl... family name) and we're all great friends because neil was my roommate at school this year and leif was always around. i just got to babysit him for a couple days while neil was at work, and part of the babysitting duties involved suit shopping. unfortunately i wont be around for space camp, but its good to know that adria cafe is a potential place for illegal activity. newark needs more of those. :)

that sounds like an awesome game. it'd be more fun if you had to go in alphabetical order, though, and get through the entire alphabet before moving on to the next year, hahahaha.

i'm glad that you got to have fun with your friends there, and that you seem to be happy with the place you'll be living in the fall :)
