Today has been a GLORIOUS day. I got in to work a little late to find my trainee/replacement already at work filling orders. While she took care of that, I wrote up reference materials for her for when I leave, did quality control checks (she passes pretty well!), and answered her questions on where stuff is in the database, etc. (She's getting ( Read more... ) -
Magic Mouse built-in gestures, Sesamouse
The only gesture that Magic Mouse supports that my built-in trackpad doesn't? Navigate left/right with two-fingered horizontal swipe (as opposed to one-finger scroll). Lame, I'll probably disable that. Inertial scroll - that's useful and nicely designed ( Read more... ) -

Add white border to images (AppleScript for Mac)
@storiesofmac tweeted earlier today asking how to batch add a white background (border) to images. I think he wanted an Automator action or something, but since I prefer scripts to Automator, I wrote up an AppleScript to call ImageMagick's convert from the shell.
