So I am watching the show "The Universe" on history channel, which is a great show about you know, the universe and science and shit.
There was a commercial for the "documentary" Expelled, a horrible creationism movie with Ben Stein. Talk about hitting your target audience with ads.

that's hilarious. the sad thing is (and i know this firsthand) is that video goes right along with how christians think they're being ostracized in school and public and shit. it looks like it's done all michael-moore-ishly. all i have to say is what's sadder? a whole town being laid off for the greed and profit of conservatives or some kids not getting to lead the school in prayer over the intercom during morning announcements (because that's what's realistically being attacked - NOT kids praying on their own) and getting to teach their mythological lore in school because some mean liberals want to make things equal and fair for everyone? satire just isnt as punctuating when it's not about a ridiculous tragedy.

ben stein being a creationist is to smart people as bill cosby being a republican is to black people.
