Well I'm back at home and having to get used to a CRT monitor. Had an interesting dream last night about doing a LARP version of D&D in Canada and debating whether I can wear my sword or not. Clearly I've been playing too much neverwinter nights 2.

Training went well. I did some good training with my noble lord on kill shots. I also had a good chat with Micheal on my fighting style. Todays session was about re-doing the basics. A lot of the stuff highlights how aikido can be diverse and yet be about the same principles. The style at my current dojo is softer then I have been previously taught but I can see its worth. The other main benefit I get is strenthening my mussles and increasing my flexability.

I by chance found a dojo at the edge of campus. Its small but practices a nice soft style, I'm not sure how effective it is but it certainly is going to be good for relaxation.

For whatever reason I had a rather good dancing lesson today, I wasn't feeling that great when I started, but it ended up being one of those sessions where most things clicked into place, I even got the waltz which I could not had done at the beginning of the lesson. So I feel good about the Cha cha cha, Jive, rumba, waltz, quickstep and Foxtrot.

Had a good weekend doing to debec autumn craft weekend, managed to eat work and sleep in the authentic long hall that is built and owned by my national society. It was rather good, the weather was nice to us and I got some crafty stuff done (though not as much as I would had liked to). I suspect that while I am not bad I should not pursue a carer in dancing. It was an exhausting two hours today going from the cha cha cha to the Jive in Latin dancing then Waltz - quickstep - Waltz. I realise that there are times when duty overules in some way. I do not want really to go to wind band tonight, it is raining I have a low level sinus pain, and Ginie has decided to do a social instead. However as the only french horn player my options are not numerous. I blame starting a book based arround Londo Mollari.

I've just gotten back from my presentation on my final year project. Looking at the other presentations I feel rather good with how mine worked, especially as compared to some I had a clear and obtainable objective with the size of the project being the only critism.
