Here I am... at the hospital... on call.

I start my vacation at 8AM tomorrow... only 8hrs to go!!!

I can't wait!

Whew! Made it through my 4 days of call... not too badly, only one night up :)
I have tonight all to myself! But then I'm on call Tuesday night again, right before I leave for my days off.

Well, it's Sunday! I'm on my last day of 4 on call at the hospital. It hasn't been that bad... I guess because Vulcan is so small! Last night was my only night so far where I had to get up between midnight and 6AM. Here's hoping tonight won't be too bad ( Read more... )

Things are going alright here in Vulcan... but today is my first day of 4 that I'm on call - in a row!!!

So ask me monday morning how I'm doing...

Tomorrow morning I drive out to Vulcan to start my "remote" family medicine rotation. Vulcan isn't really all that remote - it's about 1 and a half hours from Calgary. But it is small - only 3 doctors in town. The town is only 10 blocks by 10 blocks - pretty darn small... and there isn't much in the way of fast food - only a Burger Baron ( Read more... )
