i thought that by the end, at dumbledore's funeral, them being together was more hinted at than ever.

i heard a theory that hermione will be ron's date to bill and fleur's wedding, and that their relationship finally, finally materializes there.

Also about Snape (which I thought of later after talking to a friend): He had to kill Dumbledore because of the Unbreakable Vow (the other wizards would've made Draco do it, and then Snape would have died as well). Either one goes or they both go, and then the Order would have been up a creek (as Snape is their only source of info).

Had to wait to read this post but I love your insights. 'RAB' has been killing me but what you say makes a lot of sense. I felt a bit out of it reading this book as I'd only read the fifth book once and am a bit hazy about what happened so think I may re-read it. What do you feel about GOF coming out in November?

Thinking about it more, I doubt that JK would be that obvious about it, you know? I don't know who it would be in place of him... probably someone new, eh? I had only read the fifth book once, too (I think). Harry's just too angry/angsty for my taste in that book.

Goblet of Fire should be fun! I already have plans with my friend to go see it when school starts up again. It should be around my birthday (same month, at any rate), so maybe we can make a fun day out of it. I haven't seen ANY of the media circulation about it yet. And it's my favorite book, and if they don't do the final scene JUST right, I'm going to have the director's head on a stick. Who's directing it, anyway?
