Okay, Atkins update time. Since Wednesday, January 19, 2005, I have lost 4 pounds.
My new measurements:
Chest: same
Waist: 30.75
Hips: 38.5
That means in 5 days I have lost 1.25 inches on my waist and 1.5 inches on my hips, and 4 pounds. Good way to jumpstart a diet huh?

My dad flattered me the other day by asking me why I wanted to go on a diet anyway. "You look great, what the hell's the point?" he says. My dad can be an ass, but that made me feel good all day. I want to go on a diet because I am over my "ideal" weight range medically speaking. I think that once you start getting into your mid 20's you should start to watch your health, because it'll only get harder later on in life.
I'm glad to hear you're going to the gym and eating healthy and all that jazz....
