Yeah, been seeing complaints about the embedding thing and how it's replaced the old way of sharing/reposting or something? I never used the original feature, so I know I explained that badly...

WHY THE HECK WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT?! I'd rather make my own journal entry based on the comment, instead of having everything filled in for me. Most of us are not toddlers, LJ.

So you don't have to copy and paste? This doesn't lock you into only posting the comment, just pre-fills the editor with the comment text and a link to the entry.

Scratch that; I just tested it and it does lock you in. Yeah, that's dumb. It should totally let you edit before posting.
