This is such a beautiful and well-written statement of your past year! I really relate to many things you've said, and am going to need to reflect further before I can write a complete comment. I have the same wish for 2012, and I really hope and pray that you and your family get the peace and quiet you crave.

*hugs back* Thank you :) Apparently we have missed several large-ish quakes while we were away so perhaps this year isn't going to be all that quiet for us. Still ... it would take a lot to make it worse than last year so I'm still hopeful :D
