ok, i reallllllllly want to work at bon ronckers running spot in cincinnati. they're hiring in a few different locations.  talk about a job i'd love! and i bet i'd get awesome discounts on running gear. gah.
this job just screams my name.

so. yesterday was the annual 5k fun run and walk to benefit a columbus organization that trains pilot eye dogs. it was a lot of fun! my family came up with toby (since dogs were allowed to race) and ran. my brother ran very well again--he was in the top 5 of overall male winners, placing 5th!  i ran well too--a 27.39!!  i shaved more than 2 minutes ( Read more... )

some days i am afflicted with such a restlessness that i don't know what to do with myself. i go driving through strange neighborhoods. i snack, unconsciously , to stay busy. what to write? all i do anymore is run, work out, and read. fantasize about my post-graduation trip to europe. worry about scoring a summer job, or even more important, an internship at NBC next year. unless it's reading a feminist novel or a travel narrative on the lives of indian sadus, i don't do actual homework.

i've decided to travel abroad after i graduate. to europe. i'm going to backpack through europe for two weeks, get dirty, sleep in youth hostels eat foreign street food.  my mother  suggested it. she told me i needed an adventure. so, liz and i have decided to travel  together. we've begun preliminary research and i think we've got a route set.....
