Thought on the new Viewfinder chapter

Finally finished geeking out over the new Viewfinder chapter.Thought I’d put my thoughts into words now.

Asami's feelings are very hard to tell. Its part of the thing which both make him really fascinating and frustating as a character. That particular panel, when Asami wonders if Akihito will really come back, when half is face is hidden: that was sort of the crucial moment for me. Asami really IS worried, he's either too proud or doesn't know how to articulate it properly. In his line of work, its important not to let your true feelings show and the disastrous affair of Feilong could not have helped.

I think Asami CAN know every moment of Akihito's life if he chooses to in canon, he just doesn't. He has a man follow him to keep him safe and keep Asami updated if Akihito gets into trouble but he really isn't very interested in the specifics. (Though, it really is weird that the man couldn't get into contact with Asami for 3 days; what was Asami doing, ignoring his calls?)

I think that Asami knowing every last details of Akihito's life are written in fan-fictions, not the actual manga. By the way looooove your work ^u^ always checking for updates!!!!! Keep up the fantastic work!

Absolutely agree with all the above. 3 days WOULD be Asami's limit, any more and there might be a nuclear meltdown. :P I sometimes wonder how much of him is really pride and how much of it is really just how he is. It's weird, in the beginning he's was like this character that nobody could touch and even now we rarely see human failings of his. But I wonder if that seemingly untouchable arrogance of his is really his failing. It makes it difficult to tell what he's feeling, which is why when he says something its more about what he wants than what he needs. So its 'you're mine' all the time, rather than confessing that he might actually need Akihito too, something which comes across clearly in the new chapter.

You don't know what I wouldn't give to see Asami acting like a lovesick puppy. :P

Well runa93 I totally agreed with your post. They were my thoughts exactly. Although I was also pondering the same question as mistressdi. "Why did Asami wait three days?" But now that I read lexus520 post it makes sense. But then I wondered, "why didn't Asami know about Akihito & Sudoh's confrontation?" But then I came to the conclusion that yes Asami does have Takaba followed, but maybe Akihito ditch them. Doesn't he always? And maybe Asami only really has him really guarded when he knows that something is up with Akihito. Which I think he now will be thanks to Akihito avoiding him in ch 41. I wish I could see more of Asami's feelings for Akihito. It's only been Akihito so far.The only time we really got to see Asami go all out was during Akihito's 2nd kidnap. I still love reading viewfinder, cant wait for more. By the way I was previously reading viewfinder on manga-go.com but they took it down. Anyone know where else i can read it? I tried joining Harudoki, but that didn't work. Also tried joining Yamane Ayano Community & that

YA comm doesn't allow anyone to join who;s journal doesn't have at least a few posts. :) I recommend you wait for some time, and then join again. Harudaki is undergoing some changes so joining may take some time. :)

I totally agree in everything that was written in here specially about that bad ass guy sudou..Grrr..i hate him the most....he is dreaming to be aki get kick out of asami's bed so he can be the replacement...Duh....if ever asami would fall for him or on the likes of him then i rather choose feilong's kind than him..low ranking ass..LOLS..(sorry guys ..i just really hate him)..he made my most beloved aki got hurt and said that he was sorry for what his men did...jackass!!! if i got your balls kick so many times and said that i was sorry will that be okay too?.. and about asamiI kind of disappointed in him too not knowing what happened.. Oh man, this is so late. Sorry, not the most regular checker of LJ. Also the new chapter came out today so I'll make a post about my feelings as soon as I get a look at the new chapter. :P
