do I turn on the a/c tonight or in the morning?

We went to the zoo today with my parents and wow, was that exhausting. And we didn't even see the whole thing! The girls take one nap a day now, usually from 12-3. Having that three hour break in the middle of the day is awesome, but it means our big outings have to be in the morning. Nothing like being utterly exhausted and it's not even 1: ( Read more... )

Maybe you could have the younger sisters take care of the twins while you're trying to get something done around the house or yard? Cooking something complicated or working on cross-stitch or something that takes more concentration than you can usually get with the girls around, but you're still there in case they need a little more help than they might realize.

I think that's the situation the girls are hoping for. Problem is, I don't do any of those things while the girls are awake. When they're up, I concentrate on them. I may do a bit of cooking, but most of that gets done while they are napping. Even yard work is done during their nap.

I know I was babysitting until 2am when I was 12, but somehow it feels very different when the tables are reversed! They look so little!
