I'm not a huge Halloween person. While I love to hand out candy, I'm no good at coming up with costume ideas. But, I want the girls to enjoy Halloween, so I'm trying to plan ahead a little bit and make more of an effort ( Read more... )

These ideas are way too cute. My friend dressed her little girl as a flower one year and did it relatively easily too. She dressed her in a green onesie, and built a daisy for top part. She basically cut out big white circiles for the petals, one yellow one for the center and glued them all to a headband. It was SUPER cute.

So true! See. I am so not crafty about these things. I think if I could make a hat into a flower, Caden would totally wear it.

Anyway! What if you used one of these hats instead? http://www.beaniedesigns.com/beanie-flowers.html I just saw those online and they're so cute. AND you wouldn't have to make anything.

Slight team allegiance, mostly because they are twins and it's the Minnesota Twins.

Ha! It's all going to tie back to scrapbooking now isn't it? Maybe the scrapbook is pro pictures and holidays?

Go for what's easy & comfortable--you won't be stressed & the girls will be happier if they're not in thngs that feel odd/weird & you'll have a much better chance of getting smiley pictures to show them over the years. (That's a vote for the Twins!)

Remember last years pictures? They hated those costumes! That's a great reminder. I'd rather have them comfortable.

Ha! I wanted *both* of them to have Mauer jerseys, but my mom bought them and apparently the Mauer jerseys looked very different. It doesn't make it right though. =)

I LOVE the supergirls idea. I can totally picture them with their initials on their chests -- adorable!
