If you follow me on FB or read the girls' blog, you know that Caden got H1N1 last week. She had one day and night of a 101 fever, and then was mostly just very tired. Nights are either rock solid sleep, or crying over and over. On top of that, both girls are teething. My sleep is way messed up. My body gets in sleep rhythms which can be hard ( Read more... )

I'm glad Caden is feeling better and that the flu didn't treat her too badly. I bet that's scary to have such a young child get it. Hope Delaney doesn't get it too!

Honestly, she was super snuggly and cuddly when she was sick, so it was kind of nice. I'm so glad the flu was mild for her, but it was also nice to cuddle with her on my lap and just relax, instead of trying to wriggle around all the time!

Hehehe, awwww. The flu makes babies into cuddle-bugs! At least in this case, thank goodness. I can imagine you were probably expecting something much worse at first. Must have been nice to get off "easy".

oh man, im glad caden is feeling better. i didnt take caleb to the peds, but he ran a very low grade fever... not even sure i would call it a fever (99.5-100.5) for 3 days and was whiney and up at night crying (never happens!) and just overall in a foul mood and clingy. i cant help wondering if that was H1N1, but i don't think it'd do any good to test NOW - a week later. yikes!

you'll love san diego :) i dont remember what you're doing here, but if you need any pointers... let me know! i was born and raised here :)

When I took her in, I didn't even suspect the flu, but it ended up being so nice to have that diagnosis and to know what was wrong. It also meant I kept her home way longer than I would have otherwise, so we didn't get anyone else sick.

My client is out in San Diego, so I've been out there 25 times or so? Plus I have family and a bunch of friends out there. It's a girls weekend, so we're going to do some shopping, some gossiping, and some drinking. I'm excited!
