getting my bikini body back

I stopped exercising regularly sometime in mid-November. Right around then I realized I needed to replace my running shoes stat, then there was the break up, everyone got sick, the holidays rolled around, and here we are. I've run a few times in the last few weeks, but nothing regular. The last time I ran my hips ached, and I realized that if I ( Read more... )

Seriously, I think the shred is awesome. Jillian really does motivate!

My comcast only has level 2, as well, which sucks because I actually liked level 1 better.

She totally does! She knows the exact right things to say at the right time.

Is this going to disappear from Ondemand any time soon? Also, you can keep watching it over and over right? They message at the end about having 24 hours to view it again makes me nervous.

You can watch it multiple times in 24 hours and then watch it again after those 24 hours are up. And they recently, like this week recently, re-upped level 2, so you should be okay. They also warn you - a few days before it goes you'll see messages like "ends on 1/27" or something. Shred 1 or shred 2 have been pretty constant for the last two or three months, along with quick trouble zones which is the one I'm doing. (She has new women working out behind her!) And the one hour one which is also always there. Well, seems to be always.

Is the quick trouble zones 40 minutes? Is that too long? I looked at that one, but didn't have the time to do it last night.

I keep wondering about the planks as well. My butt is kind of high in the air, but I looked at the model chick and hers was too so I felt better.

I definitely recommend buying the DVD. It's great because there are 3 different levels and it's nice to mix it up sometimes. Granted, I haven't done it in awhile, but when I WAS doing it, I loved it.

Are the workouts on the different levels different? It's been so nice to be able to try it out before I buy it. I have so many crappy workout DVD's just taking up space!

Yes, they are different workouts. Level 1 is still hard, but not as hard as level 2.

I liked level 1 more than level 2, though I think that's because all the planks in level 2 kept ending up being more like downward dog for me, heh. I am totally thinking about the dvds, too.

Shred is the ultimate mommy workout. Christopher even does it with me. When I do level one, he tries pushups (gets down on all fours and puts his head on the ground) and he loves jumping jacks (jumping around the room waving his arms in the air). Best of all, he counts with me.

It is the ultimate mommy workout isn't it? I know so many mom's who do it and are losing weight with it. I think because it's 20 minutes and you can do it quickly. I've never worked out when the girls are awake, but I may have to try that soon.

I'm with you, Erin - I have so many workout DVDs just wasting space; it's ridiculous. But I'm thinking of buying these just from what everyone is saying in your comments.

Yes! I bought a Pilates DVD after the girls were born and it was horrid. So worthless. $10 wasted. That's part of what I've been loving about OnDemand. I can try out all of these different workouts, and get variety. Love!

Wait, where is it On Demand (we have Comcast too)!? How do I find it in the menu?

Doing this from memory but - Exercise TV - Celebrity Trainers - Jillian Michaels? She's on the second page of celebrity trainers. She has four or five workouts and Level 2 Shred is one of them.
