Oklahoma weather is a little strange. This morning we got about an inch of snow. It was 75 back on Monday and Tuesday. -
A Mile Up, A Mile Down
Last night crazyotter and I finished the Mile Challenge at the OSU Rock Wall: 195 ascents (and descents) * 27 feet = 5265ft. Technically, just shy of a mile - but they gave us the t-shirt anyways (and if you include the little bit of climbing we did to get certified, I think we can call it a full mile). Back in New England
After three days of driving (we stopped in PA last night due to bad weather), we’re back in CT. The three musketeers are together again
crazyotter has already posted about it, but Bam Bam passed away yesterday afternoon after struggling with an enlarged, infected prostate that was likely caused by his adrenal gland tumor. I think he had been missing his brother and sister, so as much as we miss him, I’m sure they’re all running around together, causing trouble.

A floodwatch has been issued for our area
Here’s a video of what I woke up to this morning - forgive the poor camera work, I just used the webcam built into my laptop. Genn was at the vet school already (she’s on ICU this rotation), and now clearly can’t come home. I’m obviously not making it into class today - hopefully the water level starts going down today. Earthquake!!! (Not too exciting for us, really)
This afternoon, at a little after 3pm (local time - about an hour ahead of you East coasters), there was a magnitude 7.4 earthquake down near Martinique and Dominica.
