On the cover of this past week's People magazine is the former supermodel Tyra Bank, who recently was critized for gaining weight. She is on the cover in a red one piece swimsuit, and claim that she is now 161 lbs. She is also 5'10" and claims to now wear a size 32 jeans. I think I am developing shin splints. My calves have had this burning achy sensation for over a month. Even with elevation, Advil, and ice, it will not go away. This is more than mildly disturbing to say the least, considering that 75% of all of my exercise is lower body. I majorly slacked off this past week to my diet and exercise program. I just wasn't feeling all that motivated, (Only worked out 4 days and skated 2) and also went out Thursday thru Sunday which totally blew my healthy eating plan.
