Wow! I never check LJ anymore. I'm amazed that my last entry was more than a year ago, just before we left for Japan. That seems so long ago. Other events along that time line seem about right, but for some reason, the trip felt like it was 2 years ago.

Today is my baby's 19th birthday. Sigh.

Sitting on the bottom corner of my bed was huge spider -- it was approximately the size of a small scorpion. Started the day at San Onofre State Beach. My new favorite thing to do on Wednesday. Lie on the beach, eat Subway sandwiches, listen to Ali's dad and his cronies playing all their beautiful music, watching the surfers....ahhhh bliss.
