So I got to see The Hives on Thursday after another dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb day, and I suppose I wasn't wholly in the proper mental state to appreciate it, but I LOVED IT. Here are some pick-chores:

the two videos that i've done have some limited animations using my own art, but i think that doing something like this would feel from my own perspective and potentially that of showgoers too derivative of junior senior and "MOVE YOUR FEET." not that this is particularly a bad thing, because that video was absolutely amazing in every way, but i don't know. this would be fun to pull off if i had endless time. maybe i could take this in a different direction, actually exploiting the fact that it looks like it's from a video game, and placing PUMPKIN DUDES in some video game landscapes reminiscent of old nes titles? you know me and video games.

thanks a bunch though, alex! it took me about 20 minutes to make each of the above, but would probably be less for me + you + the other two because we don't wear ornate suits.

TOO MUCH SPARE TIME, LIVING IN AN OVERALL GOOD ENVIRONMENT, AND LOTS OF CAFFEINE.

but tHNX! the only costume idea that seems feasible is a slightly dapper skeleton, that is, if i can get some black makeup, some white makeup, and some black suspenders. THIS WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN.

Do you have a top hat? I think you should be a skeleton in a top hat wearing suspenders also smoking a cigarette. With the amount of time you/I, EVERYONE REALLY, have left we should have worked on costumes last night in Walmart's women's bathroom. Halloween is October 31st for everyone, I guess. Just drink slightly more caffeine than you usually do and be jack kerouac. You'll have to fake like your constitution is a lot higher than it is, but only for one night, PHEW!

do you have a top hat? i can fight some dudes in the french quarter, not only for exp and gp, but so i can get the rare drop of "Smelly Top Hat." right now, i'm just fighting rats and slimes and stuff but once the rest of the party joins up with me, maybe i'd have a better chance at fighting a "Delusional Goth," which i guess is redundant.

i would totally do art for anyone if they wanted to make an rpg with RPGMAKER 2000, but YUCK TO SITTIN' AROUND, WRITING ABOUT SOME ASSHOLES WHO HAVE TO FIGHT EVIL. unless it's the hives and i can finish it in one afternoon. YEA RITE
