My summer class has its last lesson today, and the final exam is on Friday.  Next week there is "math camp" for a few hours every day (mon- fri).  The following week there is math camp for Mon-wed, thur is orientation and a "math placement exam" (which will be be on my record anywhere, it is just to help make sure we do not enroll in a class we ( Read more... )

I should have checked the fit of my suits earlier this week.  They are ok, but the blue jacket needs the sleeves let out a bit and the body needs to get taken in.  The brown jacket needs the arms let out a bit as well.  It is a little tight in the shoulders when I try to put my hands together, but it is OK....I am sure that a tailor would be able ( Read more... )

I am dog sitting until next thursday :)  They are so cute!  Bob says that he won't have a dog, ever, though....But all he knows are these dogs, Scooter and Murphy (his brother's dog who runs away and doesn't like anyone).  Most of them are untrained - don't come when called, don't know how to "be quiet", are too excited or not excited enough.  And ( Read more... )

One of my good friends (the one I stayed with - with the puppies) got a job as a professor at Purdue. She starts in Jan, and she has been looking for a house.  SHe found one that her and her fiancee both LOVE, but the owner was being stubborn.  THey found another house and thier real estate agent called up the people from the original house to tell ( Read more... )
