GUESS WHAT? I am done! I finished my paper (finally) and am totally fucking done with my senior year of college. I'll be walking next week, but won't be done with school until December. However, I am officially done with all of my art classes, which is so, so weird. I'll probably never have my work looked at or critiqued every again, which is kind ( Read more... )

i didn't apply! UCLA is the only school i applied to for art. the rest were small liberal arts schools, mostly in the pacific northwest or east coast.

Oh, I'm curious now! Where else did you apply? I'm only curious as I cannot imagine you on the East Coast at all. I don't know why. Well, I can imagine you in NYC!

Isn't finishing school the greatest feeling in the world? I'm so glad I walked because it really felt like I had done it and was finally finished. I walked in the Spring but didn't technically graduate till December. I'm so happy I was allowed to do that, so I could be there with all my friends.

I'm sad that I didn't have a final art show or anything. I didn't go to art school but an artsy school for sure. It was so awesome getting my BFA writing project bound. I wrote 45 haiku! Now it's in the Emerson library somewhere collecting dust. :)

Ugh, it feels great! I'm not happy with the photo I put in the show, but what can you do!

That's really cool that you made a book! Did you bind it yourself or get it bound?

I'm sorry you aren't happy with the photo you chose to show, but I'm sure it's someone's favorite out there and you don't even know it!

I wish I had learned to bind it myself, but alas, no. I just went to Staples, but still, even though the binding was something so simple, it was the best feeling. I guess it just made it more special since it was something I had never been required to do before and it made it more permanent.
