Europe was awesome.

I went to a wedding last weekend.  A traditional Japanese one.  It was awesome.

I sang at the reception.  It was good, I hear...I can never tell from my performance haze "zone."

And I thoroughly enjoy telling the tech people "I don't need a mic, but thank you."

That was awesome.

Ok so the keyboards here have the y key and the z key switched, so from here on, I´m just going to type in my normal fingering...it´ll be fun, like a puyyle!

We are now wrapping up our 9th daz in Europe now, which is great because we aren´t even halfwaz done and that makes me happz because it has alreadz seemed like we´ve been here a long time (I´m ( Read more... )

OK it's official. A series of events and non-events in the past few weeks has reminded me that I am in fact still insecure about some things. Probably things that I have no real reason to be insecure about, too. Insecurity and confidence both are double-edged swords, though. Balance.
And things are pretty good again. Pretty damn good.

Last show was good. Conflicted, a little. I had a really nice time afterward but I think I may have ruined something good...but hopefully not.

But I don't regret it. Probably needs some more explanation, but I'm not sorry.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I was unreasonably morose for too long last Saturday night after our show...I wasn't really sad about anything. Wait, does morose automatically mean sad? If it does, then I wasn't that. I guess I just needed some alone time after being around people for so long...then sometimes it's hard for me to get back into ( Read more... )
