Stress breeds creativity.  I was trying to study and end up drafting the Academic Layers of Hell:

1. Procrastination: I don't want to study.

2. Frustration: Studying is hard. Grrr.
3. Caffeination: I can induce motivation through chemistry.
4. Horror: I'm overwhelmed by all the studying I have to do.

When I was finishing my undergrad, I got really sick. We thought I had mono but all the tests came back negative. I seriously could not stay awake, even with caffeine pills and I had killer headaches. I remember that some days I had to be in bed every other hour. My mentor said I was "subconsciously stressed." Me: I'm apologizing in advance for my broken body you get to fix tomorrow.

Thomas: Can't wait.  Love a challenge.

Me: Sadist.

Thomas: Gymnast.

Every gymnast will understand this, but I'm not sure if anyone else will.  It made me giggle.

- stay organized and steadily working on scholarship applications
- contact ASU's law school's financial aid dept to discuss options
- attend pre-orientation at ASU
- fix issues with my professional counseling license (ick)

It's official.

My nipple piercings were removed this afternoon.

Now my boobs look really weird to me...at least until I get used to seeing them metal-free.
