The orange blossoms on my tree are in full bloom and the grass was just cut yesterday... my house smells like spring.  Thus, the nap I took on the lawn this afternoon.

 is to persuade everyone to have a mandatory nap time set aside each day.  seriously, we'd all be a lot happier... i sure am right now!

it's not even 10:00 yet, and i already feel like i'm ready to drop.  i can't wait for spring break... even if i am slightly jealous that jess is going to portland and seattle, and i'm staying here and doing nothing. 

today was lovely... sun shining, wind blowing, all was well.  i went for a walk, read my book, and graded papers outside, then went to a global teach-in that was happening in tempe for a bit.  all in all, a wonderful day.

when i agreed to go on our usual sunday morning hike, after initially canceling because of the rain, i had no idea what i was getting myself into. the two mile in, two mile out hike that should have taken an hour and half turned into a five hour test.
